「We had a fantastic stay here. The house & setting are just beautiful, so peaceful & the hosts are so welcoming & friendly. The bed was so comfortable! We had an evening meal here which was home cooked & delicious. We had an early start the following day for a Jeep safari we’d booked through the hosts & we were sent off with a huge packed breakfast. The safari was fabulous too, the guide was so knowledgeable about Udawele Park. Wish we could have stayed longer!」

「The hotel is well located a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are great and attentive to all your needs. They go the extra mile all the time to ensure your stay is special. Breakfast is excellent with all cusines available. The NY eve gala dinner had live music, superb food banquet and a beach bbq. Seafood, meat and sushi available. Like a wedding feast. Great fun and well organised.」

「Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Auf unsere Anfrage hin wurde das Zimmer problemlos gewechselt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das neue Zimmer war sehr modern, sauber und neuwertig. Das Frühstück war für sri-lankische Verhältnisse gut und ausreichend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber. Insgesamt haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft gerne weiterempfehlen.」

「Lovely boutique hotel around 15 minutes drive from Hiriketiya. Staff were really friendly, the room was clean and practical (although we would appreciate more storage space). Very quiet away from the main road so you won’t hear cars beeping」

「What can I say about the best 4 nights/ 5 day stay at the stunning Uga Prāva? Impeccable, luxurious, relaxed, elegant, extremely friendly staff (Prem is one wonderful butler), delicious food. The attention to detail is on- point, everything from the seamlessly understated decor, to the gorgeous infinity pool, gardens, view out over the Indian Ocean, quiet, seriously comfortable suites, .. I could go on and on. If I could rate it, we would give Uga Prāva 7 out of 5 stars 🌟 We will be returning!」

「This is a lovely resort, and we had a wonderful stay. The beach is quite and the hotel is very relaxing and low key. The kitchen staff was accommodating as we are vegetarians. The hotel needs some maintenance- the paint was peeling and the furniture looks old and worn out. 」

「Serendivi Resort Villa was amazing! Right on the beach, Tropical Modernist architecture and an incredible view. We were looked after very well by Farees, Chefs Sanath and Vinodh and the Manager Prabath. Really delicious food. I wish we had stayed longer! 」
