This property was convenient in terms of walking distance to all attractions in old town Vilnius.
Not exactly sure why this is considered a 5 Star hotel thought. I guess some people would view the dated decor as part of the charm, but it felt dingy in my opinion. Plus, this was my feeling on the hotel after coming from the Grand Kempinski in Riga, which was complete luxury with stellar attention to detail. I did not find this at the Narutis.
While most of the staff were nice at the Narutis, we did encounter a sort of rude staff member at breakfast. Also, the breakfast menu was unimpressive and cold to boot. Granted it was complimentary, however, we've had much better.
We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening for dinner. The meal was good. Very limited menu options though. They also had the same menu options for room service, which seemed odd to me.
Also, strange was the fact that there was one staff member in the restaurant who did everything. He was the bartender, server, bus boy, etc. We joked that he probably was in the kitchen cooking the meals too.
All in all, the stay was OK. 5 Stars?? Absolutely not.
