「Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. 」

「Comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, good food. The hotel has a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant which was superb, breakfast was good too. Across the road from the hotel is a lovely quaint bar called The hole in the wall, i recommend this too, if you don't want a bustling pub full of kids, because this is a lovely pleasant drinking house.」

「The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. The park itself is nice and the properties there independently owned and operated - some looked lovely, we just got a poor...

「We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. 」

「The Custom House has a fab location in Padstow. The staff and their service is amazing. The rooms could do with a refurb and there are quite a few steps steps to the rooms. 」

「The location, grounds and building are lovely. Ambiance is unpretentious and professional, the food delicious. The rooms are lovely but our bathroom was a let down. Very deep old and somewhat dangerous bathtub, with mixer shower taps. No way to shower without flooding. Very limited shelving/storage - nowhere to put washbags etc.」

「The hotel is modern and clean with a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are well equipped with very comfortable beds and cosy duvets. The rooms are situated in a separate block to the reception, bar and spa meaning to have to go outside to access the main areas. The spa, pool and saunas are excellent . The bar area is on level 1 next to the restaurant and is a nice area to relax with a coffee or drink. We did not use the restaurant for dinner , but the buffet breakfast was good quality with an ample...

「Warm and comfortable stay. Friendly staff and lovely restaurant. Apartment well equipped and very dog friendly. Beds very comfy. Very quiet and we slept well. Decor tired and needs redecorating as peeling paint in areas and walls marked. Otherwise lovely stay. 」
