Worst experience in Canada!
It is one of the worst experience of staying in a so called “luxury serviced apartments”. My family and I experienced a fire alarm escape without clear instructions and we needed to run from 23/F to the lobby via staircase in the morning of 8:30am. We also suffered with no water supply from 9-5 during our stay. Can you imagine you have to experienced these during a travel?! How hectic it was with no running water and toilet flush in a travel? We paid for a so called luxury stay but it turned out to be NOT. When you communicated to the service team, they only told you to understand without any help, support and solutions. When I requested to talk to a senior management, the staff refused and said “he would handle the same way”! What a response!!!! Don’t trust everything you read from website. My personal experience indeed is the truth. I definitely won’t recommend this accommodation to anyone, in view of its bad service as well as many many rigid rules set for the stay.

The building inside is beautiful, and the suite we stayed in was very nice as well. We really enjoyed having the separate area for the couch/tv/table/kitchenette. I especially loved how safe the place felt, you needed your key fob to enter the lobby and to go up in the elevators. There was also security 24/7. The Avalon Suites team were only a phone call or text away for anything we needed, and they were very friendly and helpful! The majority of places we wanted to go in Toronto were not too far away. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend! We would stay again in the future.

Property was clean, location is very nice. lacks transparency on climate control, it was hot the day we got to the apartment and the a/c is not working. We where advised to open the window. We only had one window it was extremely hot, and had to sleep with the outside noise. Also no fitted sheets, basically you end up sleeping intop of the mattress. Management needs to take in consideration that the apartment should be accommodated to what they state in their descriptions.

Location was fabulous. Perfect for shopping, dining, grocery stores, felt very safe, good building security. Parked the car for the week and walked everywhere. Kitchen has the basics, but a few essentials, like a cutting board, frying pan, and decent quality pot were not there. Bring your own toiletries, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash if staying for more than a couple of days. Also, the unit was very warm and the thermostat cannot be adjusted, which meant we had to keep windows open and then deal with outside noise. However, the seasons are changing and this can be difficult to manage when it’s unseasonably warm outside. Overall, the positives outweigh the few negatives, and would stay here again.

Bon emplacement. Très propre. Very helpful. Bonne communication de l'hébertiste toutefois la personne qui m'a accueilli était confuse, elle ne comprenait pas que j'avais réservé deux chambres séparées au lieu de une réservation avec deux chambres. Une fois compris, elle m'amène à la chambre. C'était après l'heure du checkin et ils commençaient le ménage de la chambre. Après une certaine attente et vérification avec sa supérieure, on m'a donné une plus belle chambre. Outre cet incident que j'attribue à son manque d'expérience, le service et l'attention étaient excellents. J'y retournerais sans hésitation.

I had an absolutely awful experience at this hotel. The fire alarm went off at 12 AM on a Saturday and lasted for half an hour! There was no communication from the hotel staff to explain what was happening or offer any reassurance, which made the situation even more stressful and unsettling. On top of that, there was no room service, not even for something as basic as changing towels or bed sheets. Despite multiple requests, it took way too long for any action to be taken. I even reached out to the hotel management via text, but no one called or paid any attention to my concerns. It’s clear that they have no regard for their guests or their comfort. Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I will never stay here again. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Lack of clearer instructions on check-in procedures. The lobby receptionist is quite rude and made us feel unwelcomed when we arrived and asked for instructions. Thankfully, Michael Angelo greeted us immediately and brought us inside. Also, not sure who to ask for toiletries such as toilet paper and soap. The room temperature was quite warm and I could not adjust the temperature. We had to open the window to cool down the room. Otherwise, it's been a very comfortable and pleasurable stay. We will not hesitate to come back again.
