「Beautifully situated and clean. Chalet might be a little inflated term for a cabin. It was very small, but had everything one needed. There is the Visitor's Centre nearby for breakfast, lunch or dinner ... we can recommend the breakfast! You are right beside the Katherine Gorge and the boat trips」

「It's an easy walk into town approx 10 minute walk to Woolies. we had a car and found the location of Alatai handy to explore sites beyond the city.We had a studio ground floor appmt, the ensuite bath is dated but serviceable, the room was clean. overall very happy with our 6 day stay.」

「Very convenient and good choice for the city. Some bathroom features are a little tired but overall, rooms are large, you can use the Mantra pool and access to the Esplanade is great. Desk service was great: stored my luggage and gave me a towel so I could swim until checkin/room was ready. Desk staff friendly. Delighted to have a bath with my room. Some bowls and cutlery in studio rooms would be great. But otherwise, a good deal. 」

「Great property which is very well run and maintained. Awesome facilities in the room. My only downside was the air conditioning did not run as cold as I would have liked - I think the filters needed cleaning. The manager is very helpful and obviously the whole team takes pride in maintenance and cleanliness. Also there are 3-4 good restaurants very nearby.」

「The hotel is centrally located and convenient to get to the main street. The room is not spacious, but still it is enough. The facilities are a bit not modern, say limited electronic plugs, but still we were satisfied with it. Moreover, the wifi facility should be further improved as the hotel just allowed one person to access to wifi but not all.」
