I am ever so tired of properties that have broken amenities and make no mention of it or adjust their prices to reflect the lessened pleasure of staying at their place. And, hilariously, when asked to review this place they had a picture of their hot tub back in the good old days when it functioned. I rolled into Thief River Falls after hours of driving, weary and sore, and thinking how good a hot soak would be. Life is all about expectations, and when those expectations are dashed it's hard to think well of the institution that did not live up to their end of the bargain. We stayed in another Grandstay place the night before, and their place was lovely, but I won't stay here again
