"We stayed here as part of a wedding party. The location is stunning, the drive up to the hotel is very picturesque. Our room was excellent with two Juliet balconies facing in different directions. The decor and fittings were like new and very modern. A good sized bathroom and plenty of hanging space for our clothes. "

"Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.The beds were great with really good mattresses.The continental breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our journey home.The rooms are a bit outdated but they are clean and spacious and well worth the money paid. If you didnt bring your car there is a bus station and a taxi service located a short walk from the hotel which can be a real bonus at times. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay at The Donard Hotel and would definitely return."
