「Made to feel at home right from check-in. Owner even carried our suitcase up to the room ! While the hotel did not have full catering, breakfast was truly great. Enjoyed dad giving us lots of valuable information on the area, including Skye. Would recommend to anyone,」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「God beliggenhed - autentisk - men lidt slidt hotel」

「Although we enjoyed staying at the hotel it is important to realise that there is no on site parking, it seems there is normally street parking 50 metres up the road, not sure how it easy it would be to park "in season". Also you need to be aware that the rooms are up a steep flight of stairs, totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
