「Both rooms smelled musty. The bathroom door in one room had a large crack in it and in the other room the door looked like it had been wet because it was all brown on the bottom. The shower curtain looked like it might have blood on it, the smoke detector was covered with some kind of netting, the door had a crack all around it. I will not stay there again.」

「The room was huge and furnished nicely. The hotel itself is very well cared for and kept updated. As long as you can get up and down the stairs, it is a great place to stay in Marshalltown. We ate at the Tremont Grille one morning and that was great as well. We will definitely stay there again when we come to town.」

「Was clean and kept up. It did have a hot tub listed and it wasn't there. Appeared it had been there and filled in, I could have used it. The room was clean, facility was clean and breakfast was what I expected and satisfactory. I would choose to stay there again.」

「Not the fanciest place but it was clean. They could use some new carpet. The beds were very soft. But sheets were nice and not too stiff (like some motels are) a plug on the outside to plug our EV in would have been nice but it’s all good. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. Overall not too bad of a stay, for the price. Staff was very kind!」

「Great find! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Interstate traffic can be a little noisy but can't be helped due to the hotel being so easy to get to from the Interstate. Just plan to run whitenoise before tucking in for the night and you'll have a great night's sleep. 」
