Our experience at this resort fell well below expectations. The service was notably poor, especially at dinner, where we waited over 30 minutes just to receive our drinks. Staff were generally inattentive and rarely checked in to see if we wanted a second round. Overall, there was a lack of warmth and attentiveness from most employees.
The rooms are in need of an update, with dated decor and minor maintenance issues. The grounds, however, are well-kept, and the pool is nice, though the pool bar could also use some attention. The bar itself is cracked, the TV was off, and the refrigerators weren’t working—a disappointing detail for a property of this caliber.
A concerning incident occurred when my wife and kids received strawberry daiquiris with crushed glass inside, likely from a broken glass in the ice. Shockingly, we received no apology or compensation for this serious mistake. The lack of accountability in response to a safety issue underscored our poor experience with customer service.
While the location and beach are beautiful, these alone don’t make up for the shortcomings in service and maintenance. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this resort unless management makes significant improvements.
