After securing the property, I called the provided number to confirm my reservation, only to be met with confusion from the person on the line, who claimed to have no knowledge of Hotels.com. Despite sending my confirmation, I had to repeatedly follow up for a response, only to be informed that my originally booked unit was unavailable. They offered a supposedly 'similar' unit instead. "We had a terrific time at the Taj Wellington Mews. This was our 4th time staying here, and every time the staff at the Wellington exceed our expectations. The location is terrific, the rooms are clean and spacious and the food is excellent. We will be back again. "

"It is too expensive for what they are charging. Breakfast has very limited options. Apartments are old. Rooms are touched up and have good lighting. Though bathrooms need a lot of improvement. No proper drainage. Shower has good water pressure and the hot water works."

"Stayed a few times now. Lovely place, excellent service and glorious food. Highly recommended. Only downside was the checkout. Inaccuracy on the bill meant had to wait ages for them to check and redo. Missed breakfast. Shame."

"I typically write reviews after completing my stay, but the experience has been so great, I’m writing it now. I came to Mumbai as a tourist for two days with my family. Hotel and rooms: Luxurious. The rooms, especially the bathroom, are very spacious. My parents said they felt they were staying in a palace of sorts. Food: The breakfast buffet is impeccable. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels with a similar spread (in quantity), but none that tasted as good as Sofitel’s. The chefs need to take a bow. The best vada pav, waffles, and baked goods. Everything was delicious. Staff/service: Also impeccable - 10/10. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The hotel had a complementary cocktail night and it was out of this world. The best drinks and appetizers. Location: I personally love BKC. It feels very modern. The hotel felt close enough to the remainder of the city - especially west Bandra. Just fyi - I took a taxi to get here from the airport and it was reasonable at 1200 rupees. Everything is so immaculately done here. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed three nights at Taj Mahal Tower Hotel and it was a very enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel opposite Gateway of India was very convenient with shopping and extensive choice of food outlets in the nearby colaba area. The iconic Taj Palace hotel is connected and most public areas are shared by both hotels. The welcome ceremony conducted on check in is very unique and made us feel special. The staff are always friendly and accommodating from the front desk to the housekeeping and food and beverage outlets. The complimentary tour was very informative and it is highly recommended if you have time to complete. A little inconvenience is the lobby is always crowded with visitors not staying at the hotel but overall a very good stay with the usual Taj excellence which makes this hotel great. "
