「Really liked the hotel and location. Will be going back later in the year. Only criticism was the pool not being open in the morning. Otherwise great hotel with lovely staff! Shame the town is becoming rundown, the low lighting in the shopping area at night made us want to get back to the hotel asap. 」

「I stayed from Sunday to Tuesday and the hotel was silent! I did start thinking I may have been the only one there! The room was very clean and had everything I needed. Being by the coast, it does get really cold at night which I'm not used to being from London so Tanya, the receptionist, kindly provided me with a portable heater as the radiators in the rooms were on a timer and did not switch on. I loved the décor of the hotel, it's absolutely beautiful, the wood against the red really works...

「The reception was ok. Cleanliness ok Bed comfort Zero Bathroom Area Zero General atmosphere Zero. Only food available a Breakfast box by the door. Left after one night and had to pay to stay in another hotel Hotel near by provide good service and Evening meal plus cooked breakfast at just a small amount more than the Westcliffe. Cost me an additional £500. Covid Excuse does not apply as I have stayed in 4 hotels in Devon and Cornwall all providing good service and Food. Only worth £40 per...
