"We spent 3 nights in the Garden City hotel on a visit to Canberra. It is well out of town for anything within walking distance but a 10-15 minute drive will get you anywhere you want to go. The hotel is well priced compared to others close to the CBD. The room was clean, the bed was big and firm and the shower was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The pressure available was tremendous. We did not have breakfast there, preferring to find a café a few minutes away so I cannot comment on...

"Great facilities, the lounge area and library were very appealing. The room we were in was quite small but met our needs for a 1 night stay. The bed was fixed against the window with no room to walk around so if you get the small room be aware one of you will be climbing across the bed if you are a couple.
