We stayed at the Dar Antonia for 3 nights, when we arrived we were met at the steps by Sanna the host of the venue, she took us to show us the venue, the beautiful rooms, the dining area & gave us our keys then showed us how to get in and out of the building, everything was immaculate and the hospitality was above and beyond, we explained we wanted a light meal in the Médina and she personally took us to a small eating kitchen a stones throw from the venue.
The bar at the top of the venue is amazing, the bartender is a lovely Tunisian man versed in 5 languages so you’ll have no problem getting anything you need, he makes the drinks strong but equally delicious and not overpowered,
Now to the most important part the food at the Dar Antonia food is made by a Michelin star Swedish chef, we met some local brits that live in Tunisia and they said the food at the Dar Antonia is the best in Sousse, these lovely brits showed us all the class restaurants all with amazing food but not 1 touched the levels of the Dar Antonia they truly are a cut above the rest.
All in all if you come to Tunisia and stay in sousse and don’t stay at the Dar Antonia you’ve missed out on a gem of Tunisia.
