"First time in Kobe. Nice hotel in the harbor. I stayed in a corner suite on the 9th floor. Had a great view of the harbor. Was nice to sit out on the deck at night and have a drink. The second morning staying a cruise ship pulled up right beside the hotel. It was so quiet you wouldn't even know they were coming in. "Hard to live here without a car, it’s far from downtown in a city without much commotion. Everything else is satisfactory but soundproof is a problem, can clearly hear other people and cleaning staff when they simply walking by outside, and neighbors accidentally banging on the wall is a bit scary at night. "The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was specially great with so many selections. Parking was free and easy, and the property was next to the beautiful park which we enjoyed the peak season of cherry blossoms. We had a room with full view of beautiful Mt.Fuji. "My stay at the route in. Nagaizumi was nice. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were nice, but the town was rather unexciting, and without a car it would take rather long walking to get anywhere other than the small outlet a half kilometer down the road. "

"Very clean hotel , steps away from North exit of Numazu station. Very convenient. Problem is the reception speak very little English. Pls note that amenities are self service from the reception. Pick your own toothbrush/shaver/comb etc. good idea for sustainability. Breakfast has similar menu every day. Very good for a 3 star inn. "

"What an amazing stay at this beautiful spot! Plan getting there ahead cause not all taxis will go right up to it but once we walked in it was a paradise! Greeted at the door, with the ultimate Balinese experience and hospitality with a welcome drink, custom options, a massage treatment to choose from, and then the room- wow! What a view over the hills with the onsen tub on the balcony!! The amenities, the robes, the traditional tatami and floor bedding- such an authentic yet comfortable experience! The private and catered dinner and breakfast experience along this tranquility was not only delicious but made us feel like royalty! The best part was the friendliness and attention of all staff! Thank you!!"

"My husband and I had the most relaxing night at Gora Hanaougi. The staff were the most attentive and kind. The kaiseki dinner and the Japanese style breakfast were both outstanding, full of local ingredients. The onsen was obviously the highlight of the stay. The private onsen in our room was quite the experience. The room had open air onsen, so we could get fresh air, but it’s covered so even during the torrential rainfall, we could enjoy the hot bath while listening to the rain. All in all, the only regret that we have is that we could only stay for one night, and not more, as we were on a tight schedule in Japan. Thank you to all the staff at Gora Hanaougi for making our stay an exceptional experience."

"Beautiful hotel- lovely surroundings. Stayed in the corner room on the forest tower and the room was fantastic- lovely view. So nice to use the onsen on the sixth floor of this building. Staff of course are amazing. Do be sure to stroll the garden- so beautiful. Breakfast is an affair each morning- felt very pampered. Highly recommend."

"This Dormy Inn was exceptional. The two hot springs baths and the sauna on the top floor were the highlight for us. We also enjoyed the complimentary ice cream in the evening and a free chair massage while our laundry was being done. After long travels in Japan, this Dormy Inn felt particularly welcoming with the complimentary lobby drinks and the complimentary ramen in the evening as well as all of the above mentioned conveniences. We will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Mishima. "
