"Great staff: we reached very late at night. The manager was kind enough to extend our onsen reservation for half hour without us asking. He stayed well past the midnight to make sure our onsen experience is complete! We are so grateful to him. "Booked this room for the private onsen and it was quite a lovely experience. We brought our luggage to them early in the morning and asked them to hold it until our check in so we could explore and after we checked in and made it to our room they sent someone to bring the luggage up. There was a breakfast buffet included with our room and it had a really nice variety of foods from western to Japanese. Staff spoke great English "

"This place is by the last stop in the ropeway. It has impeccable decor and amenities. Recommend getting the in room tub on your balcony. They also have foot bath outside and onsen. The food in the dining area was very good and you get great traditional Japanese attire while you are there. Note: this is far from Odawara. If you come in they have a shuttle 3 times a day if you book in advance. That’s recommended over the city bus."
