Lovely very clean hotel, well decorated throughout and lovely and warm. Staff nice, breakfast mostly good. Only few snags, pillows were awful need to invest in new decent ones! Also mattress not that comfy, but only my opinion may suit others. Porridge at breakfast not great, no taste of whiskey as advertised and far too thick! Also coffee far to strong! Small things that are easily fixed, otherwise nice clean hotel.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly and very pro dogs. Breakfast was very nice and good location for getting to the beach and five min walk from Seahouses centre. I had one of the windowless rooms, which wasn't a problem in the deep winter, wouldn't have liked it in summer. Nice little touches of biscuits for me and my dog on arriving. Only niggles they seemed a bit short staffed as one staff member seemed really busy. Plus they said there would be a fridge in my room, for dog food. But there wasn't. However the team very obliging in storing it for me, but if I had known, I would have taken my plug in cool box. But over all a good experience.

I thought all the staff were excellent and very hard working. We didn’t want a pet friendly so we had a room on the 2nd floor, but I wish they had some rooms that were not pet friendly on the ground floor as my husband has mobility issues and struggled on the stairs as all the ground floor rooms are pet friendly, so maybe leave a few rooms for people not wanting to use pet friendly rooms

We stayed in a family room, really clean and spacious. Staff are super friendly and breakfast was fab. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the shops/bars in Seahouses and we would definitely stay again.

A great place for a short stop over
The hotel and the staff were both brilliant and we would stay here again if in the area. The only issue we had was that the room was extreamly warm(a fan was provided) and the soundproofing between the rooms isn't great. Overall a great stay - highly recommended

Great Hotel
Lovely small hotel about 5 minute walk from the harbor and main sites and across from the beach, which means its in a quiet location and quiet at night. Hotel is quite, so not being woken up by noise etc. The room was clean and had everything you would expect from a good hotel. All staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is cooked to order, and a good variety of options and items available. Would definitely stay again.

Super little Hotel!
Just the friendliest little Hotel we could have wished to stay in! Everything was spotless. Private Parking was a bonus. Fog & rain did not dampen our happy visit!

Checking in wasn’t the best experience. We arrived slightly earlier and advised room wasn’t ready and advised to sit in the bar and lounge and we would be notified when room available. Check in was 3.00pm. By 3.30pm we started to feel a bit frustrated as we had travelled some good hours and we wanted to get changed to make our journey to Holy Island before the causeway flood. We had made a booking there. It turns out we had more or less been forgotten for the check in and it was only when we approached reception that we got this sorted. It just didn’t feel very welcoming and we didn’t feel valued as a guest. Also when we went to bed all we could hear up to midnight was a noise that sounded like a laundry dryer working which kept us both awake!

Brilliant hotel, very clean, first class dining (highly recomend restaurant to everyone even if you are not staying at the hotel), friendly staff. We admired sea views from lounge and dining room. Short walk to the harbour. Loved our stay, will be booking again soon.

The hotel is in a very nice spot very convenient for Seahoues centre. The surrounding area is very picturesque. It was very clean the food was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only slight grumble i thought the evening meals were a bit pricey. I really enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again if i visit Northumberland again. So many nice places and castles to visit.
