「Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!」

「This place has be top of the list of spa stays . The thermal suite is a great experience . Outdoor and indoor pools , saunas , jacuzzis, were really good . The bedroom was spacious and bed comfortable , the food in the lobby bar and maxwells restaurant was first class . 」

「The breakfast was always wonderful. Everything was very clean. My biggest problem was the location. It was farther away from Cavan than I expected. In addition, I was unable to connect to cellular phone service from my room. Lastly, the owner advised me that she could not accept my credit card even though my credit card is from a European bank, only cash. Overall, I would not choose this property again regardless of the price. 」

「As a traveling salesperson, this was a great find. offering good value for money. Clean room and the bed was better then most of the hotels I have stayed in for many years. I will be using Ashleigh Guest House again on my visits to the area. 」

「Bed was comfortable but the whole property needs some updating. The breakfast was good, staff very friendly and accommodating, it just feels like the property on the whole is past its peak and it needs an overall renovation to bring it up to todays standards and aesthetic. 」
