We had a nice stay at The De Soto. The common areas, including lobby, restaurants, and pool are lovely, while the guest rooms could use a little refreshing. Both restaurants onsite were very good and less expensive than a lot of the surrounding restaurants (especially with Happy Hour prices in the bar restaurant). The one minor downside for me was that there were no fridges or microwaves in the rooms. We like to bring leftovers back to our rooms for another meal and were unable to do this. But other than that, stay was nice. Staff was great, and property location was perfect being right in the middle of the North Historic District and the South Historic District. Easy to walk to everything.
