Even though this was a historic property, the rooms were in poor condition. The lobby seemed to be nice and I thought the room would reflect it. Nope. My first room had paint peeling, the floor coming up, unpressed sheets, and stains in the bathtub. I asked for a different room and it was a tad better (that doesn't say much). The floors were very dirty (my socks were dark brown in 10 mins). I found hair in the shower. The amenities were poor quality and the coffee/creamer were an environmental mess.So much packaging and wasted products.
On a more positive note, the location was great as far as walking to restaurants and historic places. It is on a rather busy street, so you do hear traffic at night. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.
