This was a great hotel to stay at located on a quiet street with beautiful views of el cerro San Cristobal and the virgin at its peak, plus a nice view of the Sky Costanera (that is just a short walk away). The staff was courteous, professional and so very helpful. Felipe tried to help me with my SIM when I was having issues and was absolutely brilliant, well-intentioned and attentive. The team seems very happy to be working there and are always laughing, humming or singing along to the music. The food was really good, as well. A good breakfast - although, I would have liked more Chilean bread (una hallullita les mataria?!). And drinks on the rooftop bar on the roof were absolutely beautiful to watch the sunset. The metro station is a block away and super convenient to get to the main tourist attractions, and Bellavista is a little far but still within walking distance from the hotel. Very, very conveniently located. It was also very clean. My room was impeccable. The sheets were crisp, clean and of high quality. Great hotel. Great value for money. Quality stay. Comfortable and convenient.

I stayed here a year ago and was really impressed with the hotel. Cleanliness was great and service very good. I was a little (only a little) disappointed that standards were not quite so high on a second and third visit. I was given a room where there was clear water damage from the shower to the wall and the bathroom smelt really bad. I had to get it checked twice and it still had lingering smell of bad water or worse. I left and returned 5 days later and was given another room where the smell wasn’t apparent. The top pool was fantastic but I had evidence its quality of cleanliness wasn’t as good on the third visit. It’s still one of the best places to spend a day/evening in Santiago though. The only down side to the AZ bar is that it’s sometimes a long wait from ordering drinks and good, particularly on Saturday evening. The bar staff are lovely and a real benefit to the hotel but they seem to struggle with dealing with orders at times of heavy demand. The room, apart from poor bathroom smell was perfect and the bed and pillows of highest order. I can say it was the best nights sleep I’d had in ages thanks to comfort of mattress and pillows. The desk staff are super friendly but I do question why when I asked for a late check out I was told the desk guy would need to check with management and then it wasn’t possible because the hotel was completely full, but when I offered to pay for an extended stay 50USD the guy immediately took payment without any check and I had room

Fantastic option if you are staying in Santiago. The area around the hotel is extremely safe and there’s many restaurants you could walk to. The rooftop pool and sunning area is really fantastic. The folks at the front desk were extremely helpful. They have free parking in the basement. Highly recommended hotel if you’re coming to Santiago. The price is right as well.

I had an amazing experience at this beautiful hotel despite staying only for a short period. The staff were very friendly and knowledge! They helped me book a tour to Valparaiso/Vino del Mar with their travel partner of which was fantastic. The hotel itself was stunning - the room was excellent in terms of sizing and being clean. The rooftop bar with swimming pool was special as it offered a chance to unwind whilst having the amazing backdrop of Santiago literally all around you. Thank you so much Hotel Solace team! I will return to Santiago at some point and be sure to book again with you.

I liked that the property was in close proximity to restaurants and sightseeing. But the sink in the bathroom stayed clogged throughout my stay even though I let them know twice about this problem. The shower door would not close and all the water would run onto the floor.

This was the second time we stayed in the solace. A conscious decision because of location, staff, and room quality. We also found yet more excellent restaurants and that one end of the cable car was also just a short walk ( or cycle ) away.
