It is in the heart of Old San Juan. Hard to find a place so convenient to walk in the city. Only thing bothering me is it is so hard to parking in holiday season. I didn't find anywhere as parking lots nearby are closed

This is an old building but that is the charm. It is a great location in old San Juan and the staff were excellent. Especially Omar who helped our family.

This place was perfect for my group. We got into town well ahead of check in and the staff were very kind and accommodating, letting us store our luggage while we explored. Location is perfect, right on the main shopping and food streets in Old San Juan, and just a quick walk from all the attractions. The hotel has a well-enforced quiet hours policy at night so there was no trouble getting a good night’s sleep! My one and only complaint would be that our suite had zero windows which was a little odd. Overall I would recommend Fortaleza Suites and would definitely stay here again.

It was a false advertisement when I rented this property it shows a window on the room a selected When I got there there was no window in the room Just for the lobby the room was super claustrophobic I couldn’t sleep also the room was next to the front desk so we could hear the door open and closing people talking the wheel of the luggage the people making coffee it was just a disaster. I couldn’t sleep at all very unhappy for what I got and they were selling me completely different. Very disappointed. I didn’t complain because there was no place to go. Everything was book everywhere I called so no choice Wish they tell you in the advertising , the real true about the room

Terrible and unsafe! Expedia should be admonished for ever recommending this property! The front door handle to the property was secured with duct tape. Greeted by a teenager in a hallway surrounded by bullet proof glass and given an email code for entrance. Then given a code for the room via a lock box. The room was a cell with no windows secured by a single lock. Dirty bed clothes with no in room safe. We checked in and immediately checked out. Dirty and unsecured!

This was a convenient location for exploring Old San Juan and walkable to the cruise port. Staff was friendly and each room was unique. The facilities were somewhat dated but well maintained and clean. Note: some rooms are on the second floor and there is not an elevator.

I only stayed for a night, but I really loved my little room and the atmosphere there. Speaking with the young woman at check was so nice. Good conversation from the beginning. The room was so cozy and beautiful. And I slept so well. I will definitely come back! And I am thankful for the short stay.

Strategically located in the center of Old San Juan. Parking requires use of nearby parking lots but everyone does. Spacious suites that is well equipped for long term stays. Highly recommended!
