I’m giving 2/5 because the experience didn’t meet expectations for a hotel of this level:
1.Cleanliness: When we arrived, the shower hadn’t been cleaned at all—there was hair and dirt left from previous guests, which was really gross.
2.Sliding Door Issues: The balcony was nice for enjoying the ocean view, but there was no screen on the sliding door. If you want to keep it open to hear the waves, you risk lizards wandering into the room.
3.Temperature Problem: on our last day there, the room got up to 83°F, and the thermostat wasn’t working. I called the front desk, and while they promised someone would come ASAP, no one showed up even after one hour.
4. Missing Amenities: For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected at least bottled water in the room daily. Instead, we only got some the day we checked in.
The location and views were great, but the lack of attention to these basic details really let us down.
