It’s a charming, historic building, newly renovated. Super clean rooms. Its location is in the middle of Old San Juan. The staff are kind and helpful. We stayed four days. We highly recommend this quaint hotel.

Perfect location in old San Juan. Staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are clean with an amazing view. The bed has very high-quality mattress and sheets and is extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this location.

My experience at the Armas Hotel was not great. However, I want to start with a few positives. The employees were polite and kind, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job—this hotel is meticulously maintained. Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager was disappointing. When I approached him about the lack of hot water in my room, he responded with arrogance and sarcasm instead of simply acknowledging the issue and offering a solution. I spent my first full day, one night, and half of the second day without being able to shower, and rather than reassuring me that the problem would be fixed, he seemed more interested in dismissing my concerns. A simple apology, a discount, or even a complimentary night would have been a reasonable response. To make matters worse, on my last night, the fire alarm went off at 2 a.m., and we had to wait by the roadside for 45 minutes before returning to our rooms—again, no communication from the manager. Another issue that several other guests and I discussed is that the rooms don’t have windows, which should be clearly stated in the room details. Additionally, basic amenities like a hairdryer, ironing board, and iron were missing. That said, the hotel’s location is great, and I truly appreciated the kindness of the front desk staff, the maintenance worker, and the housekeepers. They were professional, compassionate, and helpful throughout my stay.

Place was actually nice, BUT I EXPERIENCED lights off for hours no electricity, The bed was damp and smell like mildew, room has no windows and poor air circulation. Room was like a box very small shower was very small and tight bo room in the bathroom, no parking at the hotel you may luck up and find parking a couple blocks over. But the hotel staff was very nice and tried they best to make the stay perfect

What an amazing stay. The staff was absolutely wonderful and welcoming the rooms are so cozy and clean. You are in the heart of everything you could possibly want or a very cheap uber. This location is a must stay and I will absolutely only stay here when in San Juan.

Un lugar bonito y céntrico. Si deseas caminar poco y que todo te quede a pocos metros, lo recomiendo. El precio realmente alto para lo que ofrecen, pero no me sorprende, PR tiene los precios de Dubai. Algo que contrasta es tema habitación; pequeñas, sin ventanas, un espacio reducido que solo permite llegar y dormir. El baño muy limpio y todo perfecto excepto las almohadas, cada vez que nos apoyábamos en ellas salía un olor apestoso, se vuelve desagradable el olor. Nos toco además una habitación que al parecer estaba al lado de donde se quedaba el staff del hotel, a toda hora la puerta siguiente a mi habitación se abría y cerraba durante todo el tiempo que estuvimos, haciéndonos sentir que era la puerta nuestra y cortándonos el sueno

This property was so newly renovated that it was not yet hooked up to city water so it was running on treated catchment water. It was very clean and the water was just fine although we did drink.bottled water. The staff were excellent and friendly and helpful. The decor was rather starkly white and we wished there were a place for us to put our stuff or some art on the walls. Even a luggage rack wouldve been great. Another improvement would be a coffee bar or.breakfast bar in the covered courtyard area. We would've had coffee every day there if available. The hotel was quiet and so clean and nice after where we were before that we were thrilled to.be there. Super convenient to Old.San Juan, a nice plaza, groceries and pharmacies and shopping and restaurants. Police or national security something right next door with cops.and 24 hr security so super safe and secure area. AC was a major blessing and worked incredibly well. Our room did not have a window and we didn't miss it because it was quiet and dark and cool.after the heat and bustle of the day. We did wish the shower were hotter but we ran into that all over the Caribbean and also on our cruise ship. We would definitely stay here again, and can recommend it as a clean, modern, newly renovated, comfy, friendly hotel. With an elevator. It isnt fancy but it was really nice. I think it bills itself as a 3 star hotel.and I.think that is about right. The pricepoint is great for the location as well.
