Despite an almost perfect location (you can get anywhere on public transport from here), the hotel was disappointing. Generally the hotel is not effectively staffed. First, it advertises "valet parking," but in fact there is no staff for this and no place to pull to the curb. You have to leap out in traffic, flag down the registration staff, and wait for them to send for the staff of the garage. How to know this is the case was a puzzlement, and god help you if you are traveling alone and must just abandon your car to flag down the staff . Second, although there is restaurant on the hotel's website, on the night I arrived (kean not to leave again), the restaurant was closed for a private party. The lobby bar was sometimes open sometimes not.
The rooms were clean but only a step above airbnb-level design - lots of blown-up photographs of books and record albums on the walls but otherwise you might be sleeping in an IKEA.
