「With so much to do and see in the Yorkshire dales, the Plough Inn is the perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff escorting us to the room and making sure we were comfortable. Simple and straightforward choice and the food is the same, just perfect.」

「Fantastic place to stay. We used it as a base to visit the lakes and dales for a couple of days. Hotel/pub was in a lovely little village. We were in the Superior room which had a lovely view overlooking the river. Room itself was big with a nice comfortable double bed. Cleanliness was ok, room had clearly been cleaned however just a few marks on the wall. This didn't matter too much or affect our stay. Bathroom was a good size and clean. Could have done with some toiletries (no shower gel...

「We stayed one night for a wedding. Hotel was lovely and we were informed about noise from a function. However, there was noise until 1am from staff moving beer barrels which was quite disturbing. It was evident in our room but not all. Nevertheless, we would stsy there again.」

「What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. 」
