「Stayed for Valentine’s which included dinner (up to £40 Per Person) & breakfast. Main was ok but monkfish over cooked & pork under ( fat not rendered enough). They offered to take the fish main off the bill which was £32, as not finished & mentioned not the best. When we checked out the £32 was not put towards the drinks bill but as other than this we had a nice time & staff were great we never said anything. 「Great welcome Room had clearly been recently painted - but pictures etc not put back were on top of cupboard General furnishings dated and well used, which is a real shame . Struggled to get enough hot water for a bath in the evening Food was excellent and service even though young staff was good. Breakfast outstanding . 「The staff on reception were so friendly. The hotel was clean and modern inside. Bedrooms so warm with heat on. You can walk into Looe or drive down and park. Hotel has parking so that brilliant. The beach does f let dogs on there are any time which is a shame but they can walk along the path. Lots of cafes, pubs, eating places all dog friendly. Loved it there. 」

「Honestly one of the best places I have stay while away for work. i booked the wrong dates but the staff were more than happy to accommodate us, the rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated! i would definitely stay again (even in my own time) its a wonderful location steeped in history. I honestly couldnt think of anything i could change to make this stay better. 」
