「Lovely place, **very** friendly and professional staff and spotless rooms. The restaurant staff were top-notch, and on the night the food was excellent. I have not stopped talking to my friends about the chicken liver pate I had, that was superb. Breakfast was also extremely well cooked and presented, and to top it all up, the prices were reasonable. The free pool/spa/gym was the icing on the cake. My wife and I would certainly recommend it, and we will happily visit again. 」

「This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. 」

「Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which...
