「Fabulous house bang in the middle of Axminster. Lived in Axminster for 6 years and knew where this was but not realised the size of the house. Back for the weekend to see friends, etc. This is an exquisite properly. Amazing room and cosy guest lounge so you don’t have to sit on the bed in the room. Great breakfast. Will definitely return 」

「Amazing stay! Leah and all the staff made our family so welcome the moment we walked in the door. The kids were looked after showing them the skittle alley, darts board and tele, and introduced to all the dogs who they loved! We had plans nearby in the evening but could have happily stayed in the lovely pub all night!」

「The room was very cosy and clean. The bed was comfy and we both slept really well (in part because it was so quiet too). Massive TV with all streaming services available, tea and coffee making facilities and a powerful electric shower. The room could do with a little bit of touching up and maintenance but this was greatly outweighed by everything mentioned above. We had a few drinks in the pub both nights we were there and the staff were friendly and helpful. Spacious car park available...

「For the price I wasn’t expecting too much. But really nice atmosphere walking into the pub. Barman new my name to expect me, took an order for breakfast in the morning (which was great!) and the room was massive and comfy. Didn’t cost me to park either - would definitely stay again and hopefully get a beer too next time!」

「The room was slightly dated, but very clean. On arrival the room was cold, but there was an option to contact the owners to have the heating boosted if required. We were visiting friends nearby so didn't need to do so, and the room was lovely and warm on our return once the scheduled heating had started. Overall, we were pleased with our choice of accommodation 」
