「I was in one of the cheaper lodges not overlooking the lakes and closer to the bins. Lodge was clean overall and simply equipped with the standard fittings. I didn’t use any of the restaurants on site and check in was very easy. 」

「I booked a single room with private bathroom. However, it does not locate in the room. I needed to go outside every time I used the closet and even I washed my hands. It’s not what I want for privacy and convenience although I was the only one who kept the bathroom key!」

「Brilliant stay again at the Windmill. Dinner was superb. Room was quiet and well cared for. Like many places it could do with a spruce up but the quality of service and wonderful environment make up for any minor blemishes. Food was amazing. We were staying for St Val’s night and thought it might affect our stay but it was a delicious dinner. Whenever I see a lot of options on a menu I’m concerned the quality might be mediocre. Not here.
