Our check in with Martha was wonderful! She was friendly and helpful. Our room was average. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Decent amenities, coffee maker, conditioning shampoo, body wash, microwave, fridge, outdoor swimming pool, and free breakfast (we did not get). The age of the property shows - paint peeling in the bathroom, microwave slightly yellowing, thin towels. The stairs that go to the second floor were terrible! Warped and slightly challenging footing. But, it was fine for our one night stop. Our biggest complaint was the clientele around our room. Construction workers??They were loud, blasting music, smoking out on the main balcony. We had to call the front desk to complain about loud music booming into our room from next door. With that said, the Martha handled it professionally.
It is about a mile away from the UFO museum and with walking distance of some restaurants. The front desk provided us with a map and history of the area.
I’m not sure if I would stay again, solely based on the clientele it attracts and the noise that came with them. But, everything else made it a pleasant experience.
