While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely, the food was excellent and the setting impressive. Highly recommend, we will definitely stay again. 」

「Comfortable B&B with pleasant decor throughout. Host was very kind and catered for my gluten free requirements at breakfast. The King room was lovely but watch for the beams if you are tall. And the bathroom, though private, was one floor down and not lockable from the outside so anyone could also use it. But robes were provided for privacy and the bathroom was large and very clean. 」

「A very relaxing stay, great location which was very peaceful. Lots of extras including robes & slippers for the hot tub. Despite ground frost on our 2nd night the Shepard’s hut was very warm and cosy ! Excellent night time skies as near to zero light pollution ! 」

「Enjoyed a pleasant short stay here as a family. Service in the pub/restaurant/breakfast was prompt and friendly and food was good quality and value. Our room was unexpectedly warm for the time of year, despite radiators being turned-down but there was already a good fan in the room to counter this. We had no issues with noise despite being above the pub. 」
