The staff could not be have been more patient, friendly and helpful - but the rooms are 2 star at best, tiny and cramped, I've stayed in larger rooms in hostels. My room was not ready when I entered it, I had to ask for it to be completed. I'd booked a twin/double, but was assigned a 'single' with a single bed, twice - when asked to be moved I got an even smaller room with no desk. I checked out again immediately for a different hotel, and was refused a refund.
It's usual to have smaller hotel rooms in France, but this was ridiculous. Not a 4 star hotel.
