「I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. 「Our apartment was quite nice, large window opened onto piazza. A bakery and small market were directly across from us, information office around corner, the ferry dock 2 minute walk, and more restaurants, bars, cafes within 3 minutes than we could begin to get to. One small issue with our unit; no electrical outlets on kitchen counter (had to use tea kettle in bathroom) & pots and pans were on top shelf ( my wife wouldn’t have been able to reach them). Not the fault of Flowers Apts., but...
