「Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus.」

「Great location in centre of Kells with convenient secure parking to the rear of the hotel. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable in the newer rear block of the hotel. Our only small gripe was that the hallways and the rooms were far too hot for our liking! 「We booked this property last minute. From the moment we arrived and met Deirdre, I had a feeling we were going to enjoy our stay. Deirdre is very warm and welcoming. We stayed in Applewood cottage. It is a beautifully appointed cottage, I couldn't fault it in anyway. It was clean, beautifully decorated and with a very comfortable bed. We talk some time to walk the grounds of the property, it was lovely to be in a rural setting. I highly recommend this property as place to stay. Looking forward...

「It would have been 5 stars but the room was too cold. Way to cold」

「Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. We loved our two-level, lovely decorated cottage room that included a small kitchen. If you can get a room, don't hesitate to book. You'll love it. Next time I return I'm staying as long as I can!」

「I think this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. It has a lot of promise - tucked quietly away in a remote corner of a small town off the beaten path. But I could hardly get anyone to check me in and I had to come stand by the front desk to get ANY wi-fi at all. The lady at the desk agreed that the wi-fi could be "a little dodgy" ... that's an understatement! In 2015 there is no excuse to not have solid wi-fi connectivity throughout a small hotel area like this one. After the parties ended...
