「We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The breakfast and restaurant were good and staff were keen to help. If I had a criticism it is that service can at times be slow despite there being lots of staff around. 」

「This hotel is in a very beautiful spot with a multi level garden and incredible views of the hills around. The owners and staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We had coffee out under the arbor and breakfast was brought to our veranda. Would definitely stay here again.」

「Amazing property facing coffee garden and trail to mountain top. Only downside is access road to resort is in dilapidated state, not safe after sunset」

「Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating).」

「Une grande chambre, un très grand lit confortable, une belle salle de douche avec eau chaude et le personnel adorable. Une cuisine locale excellente . J'ai moins aimé la localisation, un peu loin du centre quand on est à pied et ma chambre juste derrière la réception etait bruyante. 」

「Gateway is an older Taj property that reeks of old world charm. The cottages and gardens are expertly laid out and the service is attentive. My room was well appointed but old. Overall an excellent option in the Coonoor area.」

「The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! 」

「Wonderful. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Its an isolated, lodge style place with full board included and they offer plenty of activities including wildlife safaris in nearby Bandipur park and a morning nature walk. 」

「Excellent place, food preparation was exceptional, buffet breakfast was very well planned and taste was great, Staff and security guard are very friendly, helpful and i highly recommend this place, Since it is so close to sims park, take in all the clean and fresh air., 5 stars」
