「Very unassuming from the outside, but with a spectacular interior. A wonderful lady at the reception. Conveniently located if you want to explore the old town and/or catch the ferry for a day trip to Morocco. For a fee, the hotel offers parking in an underground car park about 150 meters away - the only space available was too narrow for my midsize SUV, but there is an excellent public parking garage with valet service also just 150 meters away, and even slightly cheaper than what you would pay...

「This property is NOT a hostel but more like a motor inn. My husband and I made our booking online in a hurry since we were driving and had to stay the night somewhere in Tarifa. Unfortunately the usual front desk staff at Hostal El Levante were on holidays at the time but Rocio and Diego, the owners, were so wonderful and made sure everything was set up to make our check in very easy. As soon as the booking was confirmed, they sent us a message to inform us that there wouldn’t be anyone...
