My wife and I really enjoyed the property and the amenities but we were highly disappointed about the dining choices. We were not able to dine at not one of the restaurants on the property because they would show that they were booked up already. We would walk by them and there would several tables available. We were very upset about that and it left a bad feeling with us about this beautiful property. It would be hard to recommend this property to others knowing that we didn't get to enjoy not one of the restaurants because we paid great money for our winter vacation. I think that we should be compensated for our inconvenience about our dining experience in some way.

We found the property to be an attractive four star resort. Food was average, at best. Staff was extremely hit and miss. There were some excellent people but many acted like they really did not want to be there. The beach was nice but the water access was poor. The water was too shallow or too weedy to be pleasant. We found activities were limited. The elevator kept breaking down and a few other facilities did not work, from time to time. Overall, this was definitely not a five star experience but we found it to be adequate for our week of vacation.

we tried to book diner reservation on the app for the following 5 nights, and all restaurants not available, this is not acceptable, as we not able to try the Teppanyaki, steak house, Gourmet a la carte for total of 5 nights, we even went to the guest service to ask for help, and ended up the last night at steak house! tried to walk in but not accepted even inside is not full! ended up guest service manager has arranged 4 of us at Gourmet a la carte, but the hostess said don't see our reservation, and we said it is empty inside, and she let us in, by the time we finished after 1.5 hours, it is still not full, so why it is fully booked on all restaurants. We been travelled around Caribbean resorts for years and never encounter this situation! and the guest service staffs kept telling us to eat at buffet... some staffs are not that friendly; room is big and clean; at the end, we are not going back to this resort and not recommend to my friends

The resort was very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was well maintained and looked like new. Very nice sandy beach area. Beautiful pools. Very nice variety of bars and lounges. The buffets were very good. Nice variety of food. The specialty restaurants were just OK. The food was very salty at one, and the wait staff was very disorganized at the other. I would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again someday.

We just came back and had a wonderful time. Food was very good for the most part, buffet a good variety with fresh items that were excellent but some were inedible...we always left buffet satisfied and laughed at how terrible some items were ( i.e. lamb shank on a big bone toughest meat we've had all week...impossible to cut with a knife and was scared to break a tooth lol) but the grilled lamb chops at the buffet were excellent. The burger we had at la palapa on the first day by the pool was the best burger ive had anywhere at an all inclusive ( ive done 25 or so) we came back twice to have it and althought it was still great they changed the cheese and onion compote and wasnt has great has the first time. Often times the items listed on the menu are not really what you will receive and trying to make changes from the a la carte restaurants was usuallly a fail...but no big deal we still ate well all week. A very special thank you to the waitress Pamela which gave us phenomenal service all week, we made sure to seek her out whenever possible and even when the place was full she arranged for us to get a table and avoid the short wait time. Also for my wifes bday she prepared a beautiful table with flowers and balloons to celebrate the event...we took great care of her $$and she returned the favor tenfold. Some employees were slow and didnt smile but overall we received good service everyhere. Also loved no need to get up ealry for chairs there are plenty.

Overall good resort to stay at. Biggest cons was the food options and the fact that they have a few different restaurants apart from the buffets that you can make reservations at but somhow they are always booked and you are only allowed 2 reservations per your stay. There always was not much going on at night on the adult side so if you are looking for a move lively place this resort might not be for you.

First trip to PUJ and the resort didn't disappoint. Nice and clean room, bed was superb, staff were nice and can speak good english for the most part. One thing I can complain about is the lack of activities in the resort -- I know we were at the adults-only side but didn't realize that's what that meant, minimal noise whatsoever. Next time we'll most likely book the regular side as they also have wayyyy more choices for dining than the adults-only side, which we thought was weird that they didn't add the other restaurants on the regular side for us to be able to dine. And the most bummer of them all, is that all the restaurants are supposedly "fully booked" and we weren't able to book them on their app.. Had to go to guest services to try to squeeze us in some places for us to get there and the restaurants are only half filled and could definitely accomodate more guests. Need to work on their mobile app big time.

A very nice property. It is new but it looks like some of it was put together very quickly and cheaply. It is a hit or miss on the staff. Most of the bar tenders were freindy. House cleaning and the basic personel were very friendly and did a great job but some of the wait staff was bossy and rude. I think this must be a Punta Cana thing. They acted the same way at another resort 6 months ago. Overall it was a great vacation at a very nice and new resort, just don't expect great service anywhere in Punta Cana.

This was our second time here, first time no problem getting reservations at any of the restaurants. This time different options at the restaurants are closed, what is open hard to get a reservation. We never went hungry! Definitely go to the Dominican Party on Wednesday and eat at that buffet! We had an awesome time

First off our check in was a breeze thanks to Jordan! Once we were checked in it was all but fun! They have premium drinks such as corona which was good and everyone at the resort was super nice ! No one was pushy with anything and the food was always solid
