We paid extra to stay at the Hacienda, expecting a high-end, adults-only experience, but it fell far short of expectations. In the evenings, there was nowhere to enjoy a drink within the Hacienda section, forcing us to walk to the other side of the hotel. Beach access was also unavailable from the Hacienda, requiring another trek to the main resort. The only bar available in the evenings had long lineups, making it difficult to get served. Live music was only offered every other night, and when it did happen, the quality was disappointing. The hotel itself felt extremely run-down—bathroom doors by the pool wouldn’t close, pool tiles were coming loose, and the rooms were outdated. Worst of all, the shower smelled like sewage. Our group of 16 has traveled extensively to all-inclusive resorts, and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. I would never stay at a Krystal property again.

Nice location, right on the beach. The Hacienda, adults only section, was much quieter than the resort. Not many restaurants to choose from, the French and Italian specialty restaurants were not that special. Evening entertainment rather poor quality.

There’s a lot that’s needed to be addressed. Room service is supposed to be included in my package but they charge $10 us for each delivery. Food and liquor was horrible. Good way not to eat or Drink much. Had to leave resort to have anything that was good. Disappointed for sure.

I enjoyed my stay at Hacienda very much. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The pool has a nice quiet vibe to it. If you are looking to relax this resort is definitely quieter than its attached sister resort at Krystal Grand.

We had a great stay. The room was spacious and the staff was amazing! Lots of delicious food at the buffets and a la carte restaurants. Our server at the morning buffet was very friendly and welcomed us with mimosas every morning. The only downside is the longer walk to the beach as you need to go through the Krystal Grande to access the beach. Other than that we really enjoyed our trip!

First the positives: most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet on the hacienda side was good, the pools were nice. The negatives: the staff that we needed help from were not very nice, the food other than breakfast was horrible, the “rules” about holding pool chairs wasn’t followed by the staff so people would put their towel on a chair early in the morning and hold it all day, a lot of things were broken (doors, sinks, bathrooms), only 2-3 restaurants were open each day and reservations could only be made on the same day btwn 10-4, room service had a $15 delivery fee, and did I mention the food was AWFUL!!!

I didn’t like the wait time to get our room. We landed early 12:30pm and got to the hotel at 1pm check in time was at 3:30pm but they didn’t have a room available for us until 7:30pm. And there was no manager there to speak with, they couldn’t accommodate us and the staff at the front desk were worthless.

Honestly, I enjoyed the food and drinks at this hotel. Also, the staff were very kind and accommodating. I loved playing beach volleyball here. However, I had issues with a couple of things: 1. The hotel rooms need updating. My hotel room’s shower head was leaking so the water pressure was very low. The walls in my room had different patches of paint. My friend’s hotel room door would not always close fully. 2. The cleanings happen quite slowly. Someone else on my floor had left out their dirty and used room service dishes (which still had food on them). The plates and dishes were there from at least 10am to 6pm! The heat and humidity caused the smell to be unpleasant, and the food was eventually eaten by raccoons since it had been left out for so long.

Llegué a este hotel para llevar de vacaciones a mis padres y a los de mi pareja, esperando una experiencia agradable. Pero tan solo llegando tuvimos la mala experiencia de tener que esperar más de 3 horas por nuestras habitaciones, sin mencionar que nos dieron la equivocada. Personal insuficiente en la recepción, fue una mala primera impresión. El servicio en los restaurantes dejó mucho que desear por parte de algunos meseros. Y lo peor de todo fue cuando fuimos a ver las opciones del Club Vacacional, teniendo la peor experiencia con sus vendedores groseros y agresivos obligándote a venderte sus servicios a la fuerza y con condiciones absurdas. Lo bueno sin duda: la comida, las instalaciones y el buen servicio de algunos trabajadores que hicieron que nuestra estancia no fuera del todo desagradable.
