「This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit. 」

「In the start there were a few misunderstandings and some confusion. Nothing serious. The owner is very kind and responsive. It's a beautiful property and if I'm in the area, I'll stay here again. If you're in the area for tourism be prepared for some moderate-difficult walking.」

「It takes a bit of a drive to get into the property from one the more bigger roads but it is what makes this place so charming and beautiful among stretches of vineyards. The food and wine here were also amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are super clean and charming as well. Loved my stay here and would definitely stay again!」

「La Chiusa was magnificent. Gorgeously restored historical property nestled in their own olive grove, caring attentive staff, and a young chef creating absolutely delicious new takes on traditional Tuscan classics. We walked around the grounds, did some stargazing, and enjoyed the personal attention and the cooking class. 12/10, 3 thumbs up, 6 stars. Can't recommend it highly enough. We cannot wait to go back.」
