「Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. 「Great place for a girls weekend to catch up with friends. Spacious accommodation with a fab balcony Just a few things to note. Accommodation units are all individual so you don’t know quite what you will get. Units can be difficult to find as it’s a very large complex. 「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」

「Great apartment with sea view. The exterior and kitchen/bathrooms need refreshing and powerpoints in the kitchen rethinking for example the kettle/toaster with unavoidable trailing wires so we had to take extra care and limit usage. Perhaps a quick solution for this would be to provide a non-electric kettle for the hob and some extra shelf space near the power socket for the toaster. 「Good chain hotel comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Full of golfers - think Clarkson meets Paul Merson but they were all well behaved. A few minutes walk to marina of Vilamoura and a selection of steak houses, Chinese and massage parlours. Ideal for lads golfing tip I would.」

「Room upgrade was surprise gift but several details would be required to be prepared such as the way to turn-on TV with some amenities for dish -washer or washing machine」

「Room not ready for check in time and staff refused to resolve. Had to wait with children for some time before staff agreed to give us a different room so we could check in. Other than that inflexibility and inconvenience, our stay was great. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Would stay again.」
