For a hostel, we were impressed by the security codes specific to each guest for both the front door and your private room door. "We had a wonderful time at the Placemakr. Expedia lost our reservation and T’Quanae the property manager was a huge help. Sol and Jailene were quick to help us, keep us updated and connect us to T’Quanae. All of our issues were resolved by the end of the day. "We enjoyed our 5-night stay to see Broadway shows. Hotel is a few blocks from Grand Central Station, where there is a MTA shuttle train to Times Square. We also had the option to walk there. Room was comfortable, and we could not hear the occupants of adjacent rooms. Loved the complementary beverages from the bar; we carried them to our room a couple of nights. While the only breakfast option was a $45 buffet, there is a sandwich shop next door with fresh and hot foods and a decent latte. "
