The property appeared to be experiencing a sold-out condition. There was some kind of soccer tournament going on, teams/kids were everywhere. Still, all hotel staff/team members with whom we came contact, whether in-person or over-the-phone, were very friendly, warm, and professional in both manner and tone. The room assigned was a comfortable size, 2 beds. However, the beds did not appear to have been freshly made to receive new guests. The linen appeared to have been straightened rather than changed as they were quite wrinkled beneath the comforter like the housekeeper was in a hurry and did not change the bedding rather, just made the bed. The foot plate on the in-room iron was dirty. It looked as if a past guest, or guests had
melted something on it and was never cleaned off. Once alerted, with apologies the housekeeping dept. brought a brand-new iron to the room. The "closet" though trendy and stylish, was too narrow and small. Though clean, the towels were rough & hard and did not smell fresh and clean. The way the bathroom sink/countertop was designed created a mess when in use, as water pooled on the countertop around the area There isn't anywhere to hang towels after use in the bathroom. Breakfast which was included (eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, juice, etc.) in our stay was good. There was plenty, it was tasty and replenished quickly and regularly. The dining area was clean and tables turne d over quickly. The waitstaff was great!
