「This lovely old hotel has both a gracious staff and classical Mexican accommodations. The furnishings highlight old world charm and exquisite taste. There is wonderful artwork throughout the property, and the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff took excellent care of us. Breakfast was so delicious and filling that we couldn’t eat again until dinner. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in.」

「Really nice hotel in a really good location. Only reason I've given 4* is because of the noise - every single night we could hear singing from a local bar (and thumping music) until very late at night/early in the morning. It might not bother everyone but we found it hard to sleep. It might be room dependent as well, and perhaps we were unlucky. But other than this everything else was excellent.」

「It was nice. Great location-very close to the main plaza. We got the room that had three beds and a full kitchenette. It was called La Perla. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and the facilities are great. The included breakfast was exceptional, but it did take a long time. There was also secure parking, which was nice.」

「A beautifully restored property in lovely Mérida. Off street Parking is just around the corner and plenty good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We were in a standard double which was rather dark (likely good when weather is hot) so we lounged around by the pool when not out exploring. Bathroom drains can get a bit smelly from time to time but to be expected of a sympathetically restored historic building. 」

「Es una muy buena opción porque son pocos cuartos y es Pet Friendly, lo único es que hay 2 categorías de cuartos y en la categoría de mayor costo hay 4 cuartos, 3 de ellos en la planta alta y 1 en la planta baja. El de planta baja debería tener un precio/categoria menor porque se escuchan los pasos, voces y como corre el agua del cuarto de arriba.」
