Rooms are terrible, dated, no phone, no WiFi in the rooms. Not having a phone in rooms is a safety concern. They made it seem like there was round trip airport transportation but that is not the case. Food was not good either.

The room was disgusting and outdated! We had mold all over the walls. When we asked for a refunded they told me to contact Expedia. We ask for another room and this room had mold and bugs in the bed! None of the pictures on here are real!! Do not waste your money! The food is horrible as well! Housekeeping would take dirty towels and not leave clean! The entire resort is uphill. They do not help with bags. There is no WiFi in the rooms. Also no phones in the room! God forbid someone have a medical emergency you would never get assistance!

AC was about to bust after the late check in that they never apologized for. Requested a blanket that never came in spite of being assured by reception that housekeeping would come through. Food was rice and beans and protein which I could have had in town drinks were nothing that included creams or fruit because they had no budget. Reservations for dinner were almost bungled between the lazy chubby reception guy and Ramon the guy who mishandled it. Had I not threatened, I wouldn’t have gotten one for my wife’s birthday even after showing up early to have to be aggravated. The pool was not as clean as I’d hope but at least the view was nice. But they false advertise because between what is advertised offered expected and paid I’D HAVE DONE BETTER AT HOTEL FIESTA ALL INCLUDED without the drive to Guanacaste.

Beautiful Views, nice Beach, interaction with wildlife. Room was clean and nice. Most important was how great and Hard working the staff was. Affordable option, not a fancy resort with high prices but was an wonderful experience for us.

The room was nice,clean and comfortable. The property was beautiful and the thermal springs were great. We had a good time the only thing bad was when we went to the restaurant the person who sat us was on his phone and when we told him we were only getting drinks at the bar he rolled his eyes. But the staff was friendly overall.

The hot tub was the same temp as the pool. Food variety was limited and lacked seasoning/condiments. Pool area was nice, room was clean, and good service. Beautiful location and beach. You get what you pay for, and this resort was decent.

Didn't have how water for almost 3 days, Hottub only work the last night of our trip. Room cleaning people were excellent but didn't speak english. Room invade by ants and insects. All inclusive had only limited premade offering and food wasn't limited and options. Only activies was the pool and beach front. Beautiful views though

DO NOT STAY HERE - instead stay at the amazing hotel down the road (hotel.bosque del mar). I wish I did not have to write this review as I only ever like to submit positive reviews or say nothing at all. However, I need to warn others so they do not have the same terrible experience that we did. My husband and 3 young children left within an hour of checking in here due to the unsanitary conditions of our room and the surrounding outside areas (garbage everywhere, dirty tissues in our room, hair in the shower, etc). We were just going to ask to switch rooms but the dining area was also extremely disappointing with barely any food options and excessive flies everywhere. We could have managed with the extremely steep hike up the hill from our room to the pool (even with a double stroller and 3 kids under 5) and also could have overlooked that the kid amenities listed on the website were non existent, but the dirtiness was where we drew the line. We immediately and discretely told the host that we would be securing alternate accommodations and requesting a refund. We made sure this was discussed privately as not to impact other guests. However, all of our attempts to communicate regarding the refund were ignored. The manager is now refusing to provide any type of refund. We HIGHLY recommend that you do not stay here and instead stay at Hotel Bosque Del Mar just down the road which was absolutely amazing (cleanliness, staff and amenities were all terrific) and the same price.

Loved the staff. The room was comfortable. The views from the resort are some of the most beautiful views we’ve seen in our lives. We loved enjoying the awesome and friendly wildlife. The attention to detail was another level. To finish off our trip we enjoyed a super relaxing spa day. Will definitely come back again. Costa Rica is truly PURA VIDA!!!

The property is in bad condition. The rooms are nice, but need maintenance our room had some holes in the gypsum. The bed very goodThe bathroom also very good but could use a shower curtain.Because water goes everywhere when taking a shower. The grounds are very very nice. The beach can be accessed with a small taxi that goes from the rooms to the beach and back.This service is all throughout today. The reason for my low evaluation is the food. This hotel is all inclusive, but the food is very, very substandard.For an international hotel, breakfast is basically local food.Every day, the same thing. For international travelers, there is not much variation in the food.Everything looks and tastes like "gajitos" food that you can buy in the street for very little money. As and all inclusive resortThe drinks were free and were in abundance. I recommend trying to use a small exclusive restaurant which is sometimes included at no x.Additional cost where they serve you very, very good and tasteful food.The food that you receive for lunch or dinner again is very substandard.It's just very local, very cheap.Costa rican food, in my opinion, not suitable for foreigners. I would not recommend this hotel for international travelers

Expedia stated free shuttle, the hotel said they only do free shuttle coming in not leaving. There was no internet in our rooms, TV quality has horrible. Staff was very nice.
