Honnêtement les photos sur le site ne correspondent pas à se que nous avons reçus. La nourriture au buffet était toujours la même et ils n’avais que 5 choix plus des hot dogs. Mais manger sa tout la semaine c’était pas top. De plus, nous avons eu beaucoup de problème avec la navette fournie par l’hôtel. Nous n’avons pas eu de réponses avant notre arriver pour confirmer la navette donc nous avons pris l’initiative de commander un taxi cependant l’hôtel a écouter nos plusieurs messages sur leur répondeur et nous avais finalement envoyé la navette. Donc nous avons payer en double pour l’aller et la navette fournie pour le retour finalement n’était pas comprise donc nous l’avons payer aussi. Le seul point positif que je dirais c’est que l’hôtel se situe proche de la plage et qu’il y a 3 piscine. Il n’y a pas beaucoup de chaise longue. Et vous devez être en capacité de pouvoir marcher car les chambres si situés dans une cote apique qu’il faut monter à chaque fois que vous voulez allez à la piscine, manger, aller à la plage, dormir, aller a la réception. Sur le site aussi, il est indiqué qu’il y a des manèges ( ceux-ci sont en arrêt) et les restaurants ne sont pas ouvert.

Staff was great beds were ok. You could see people walking by through the crack in the door. You had to lock yourself in the room with the key. Food was not very good. Same thing every day. Only about 5 options. Facility needs a lot of upkeep. Drink options were limited. The hills were super steep. Not recommended unless you are fit. They did have a pickup that would take you around if it didn't already have 3 people in it.

Pool was nice. The rest is garbage. The food is reused day to day hardly any alcohol choices no juice limited water none in room no bottle water. You cannot get around easy steep terrain. I got food poisoning so bad that I did not enjoy my trip. Throwing up and the other end dry heaves horrible waisted all this money for truly the worst vacation ever. Why on earth do you sell as an all inclusive. There was hardly anything to eat and the food just sat out all day in the heat.

Stayed at Condovac la Costa in April. The views are excellent and the pools are a standout—well designed with great scenery and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was good, and the staff was consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. On the downside, several amenities were closed or not operational during the visit, which limited the overall experience. The property also needs more consistent maintenance, as some areas feel worn and not as well kept as expected. Overall, a good stay with strong service and great views, but there’s clear room for improvement on upkeep and availability of amenities.

I would give this place a 0 stars if I could. This turned into a vacation from hell. Tired, old, amenities in ruin. Cutting corners with hygiene, caused me to end up in hospital for 4 days with e-coli and Norovirus - from their food and drinks. I reached out for some sort of explanation, compensation or even apology … and got nothing. NOTHING!!! No response, despite several reach outs. Expedia supported my claim - and were responsive - but wouldn’t take them off of their list of properties???!!! As, “according to the rules and regulations”, they didn’t owe me any compensation for a vacation that they ruined. And cost me my good health. Expedia tried to offer me the days missed if we went back before the end of 2026. Not only are flights not affordable to us, but we would NEVER stay there again. Trying to keep others from ending up with a similar experience and ruined vacation :(

I booked Condovac la Costa through Expedia specifically because the listing indicated free airport pickup and 24-hour shuttle service. This was a key factor in my decision. After booking, I promptly sent my flight details. However, the hotel later informed me that airport transportation must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and could not be arranged for my arrival. This requirement was not clearly stated during booking and resulted in unexpected transportation costs and inconvenience. I recommend Expedia ensure that important conditions like advance notice requirements are clearly disclosed, and I hope this issue can be fairly resolved.

The pictures looked nothing like the resort. The resort was run down, every lounger was broken, hammocks had holes etc. The room was not the cleanest- mirrors had a thick film, perimeter + corners all had debris. The food in the pictures did not exist and in fact the food was awful! It was the same everyday, beans rice + meat. The view however was amazing, the staff was great and the drinks were nice and stiff.

Till date the worst resort I have ever been to. Rooms are clean but many bugs access to the beach is a mission all on it’s own rooms and eating area is up on a mountain and transportation is hit and miss they have one truck going around giving rides but good luck on that guy takes forever to come back to the pick up areas. And the food buffet if you want to call it that is terrible maybe 4 items if lucky and food is not good. No room service no phones in the rooms and any kind of service is nonexistent please keep away from this place we had to find other places to eat or do any kind of entertainment. I even had the hard decision of leaving a day earlier than I had paid for and paid for new flights.

Location is beautiful, staff is very accommodating. The place itself is really nice, it’s just they let it go a little bit. Could use some pressure washing and some new pool chairs. And there are old rundown carnival type rides that don’t work which is weird. Also, they had a couple things that was odd that we didn’t have like there were not any pepper shakers in the restaurant, which by the way I use the word restaurant loosely as it’s just a outside buffet bar that they use for all three meals. Also no washcloths in the rooms. Also, if you wanted to make a reservation for the other restaurant, you only could do it between two and four, and we were only able to do that one out of the four nights because they are apparently closed on Sundays. But for the price and location, I really can’t complain, those are just nitpicking. Again very great staff and beautiful location!

Pros: The pool was great, the food was okay- we ate out a few times. All inclusive so they have it all breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a tram that takes you to and from your room to the common areas, also the hotel is kind of connected to the beach. You can walk there or take the tram. Cons: no clean towels, no pool towels, no phone in the rooms, no WiFi in the rooms we had to walk up the hill to just call our family and friends or post anything on ig since WiFi is only in the common areas. This location is prolly like 10-15 min from coco beach and you basically have to uber everywhere in Costa Rica or get a taxi

The pictures posted for this resort are 16 yrs old. There is no wifi in any rooms, all the decor is outdated and smells of mold. The views from the balcony are of other rooms roofs. The buffet is always the same, dry, undercooked and no variety. They close everything down at the pool area at 10 pm- lights and all. No drinks or ice unless you hike up an inclined hill in 108 degree weather. The hotdogs for the kids were so old and dry that they looked like sun dried veiny wiener raisin. The shuttle from the airport never came to pick me up- had to pay a random taxi cash plus tip- because he asked for it- to make it there- plus the hotel had to provide the ride back to the airport back- so paying for the round trip, why did I? The false advertising of the food, views, rooms, all of it- very deceiving. Making my first time out of the country the worst experience. Told to download the whatsapp to communicate- yet you can’t use it without wifi- which was nonexistent. No phones in any rooms. No room service as advertised because how would I call for it? Rice in the morning, rice in the evening, rice at supper time. What a joke and a disappointing vacation

Please don’t book this place we had a horrible experience. I paid for my son and wife to visit Costa Rica we never stayed at an all inclusive and this was the worse place ever. Pictures are 16 years old. Location is beautiful but the hotel, food , and staff was not something I paid for. This is false pretense I paid 5k for 4 people and I regret the trip. We had to eat out most of the time, they left out the food all day. Hot dog sat all day in a tray. Pool tiles coming apart, rooms outdated. I give this place a -0 Expedia needs to fake this place off site it’s selling under false pretense. A family from another country was upset when they seen what they paid for and I’m not sure if they were able to resolve it. We had to make the best of it. I will be getting a hold of Expedia someone needs to answer for this. We paid a lot of money for this vacation that was a horrible stay. I took pictures I hope I can upload
This is the tray with hot dogs beans and bread sitting all day. No temperature check on food. This was so scary and disappointing to see.

Our family of 6 stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. 2 double beds and a separate room with a king bed, 1 bathroom. The 1 bathroom was a little tricky especially in the morning and at shower time, but we made it work. Our only complaint for the room is no hot water for showers, but maybe this is throughout the property. We liked the food as it was more authentic than a different property we stayed at right before going to Condovac. We would've liked the buffet eggs at breakfast to be more cooked. We loved the setting being higher in the mountains, a lot of animals, a short walk (or shuttle ride provided by the property) to the beautiful beach and a little store right by the beach for souvenirs or to restock toiletries/snacks. The shuttle became a great option as we tired from walking up the steep road to the main part of the resort. The main part is where the pools are, the dining hall with plenty of seating, a bath house & workout building with weights and cardio equipment. We enjoyed the lizards and iguanas walking around the pool deck! Listening to and seeing howler monkeys! We wish there were more pool chairs/loungers. Too few of loungers for even half the guests to use. They were taken quickly and people were not shy about leaving a towel on it while they weren't using it for hours at a time. The 4 pools were very clean. Beautiful infinity pools! Wading area and shallow pool for younger kids. Staff was awesome 24/7!!!

The worst hotel I ever been. Food was terrible, dinning room area disgraceful. The website lied about having 2 dinning areas. The place should be shut down. I'll give them -2

Pools and beach towels wasn’t available right away. You have to wait more than two hours to get a single towel. Found cockroaches in the room and the food needs more variety to choose from.
