The dining options are not to the level of a 4 or 5 star - except Bella, their Italian restaurant, that was the best between the 3 dinner dining choices.
The food & alcohol quality are not high or higher end. The bars seem to be placed where there is a spare space, not well organized - except the pool bar under the hut, that bar seemed to be the best organized and ready for the guests during the day.
The pool is fun and entertaining. But not enough loungers for the sun seekers. It was a battlefield at 7am to get a lounger. The resort tells you upon check in that there is no lounger reserving allowed, but no one enforces this "rule" , so loungers are left unattended with towels and a personal item perhaps, until 11 or noon. We witnessed several upset guests in regards to the lack of loungers. And unfortunately, the cabanas cost $80 USD extra per day, so no sitting on those, even if they sit empty all day.
The rooms are a great size. With most rooms having plenty of closet and shelf space. We transfered to a new room after 2 days for a better view, but the closet and shelf space was not equal. And unfortunately there is no dressers in the room that had the small closet.
The cleaning staff are excellent in the rooms. We took every other morning cleans.
The morning omelette station at the buffet was amazing.
Overall the resort is sold as a 4 star but mostly feels 3.5 star due to the lack of outdoor amenities and only okay food choices .
Value is not quote equal to cost.
