「I drive from Siena for a long way to expect the romantic trip. I choose the most beautiful pic on hotels.com. BUT it's really a nightmare to choose this hotel. 「The place itself was fine for our needs; however, I do have concerns over the welfare of the animals on site. The donkey enclosure was small, full of faeces, and had no fresh grass for the donkeys. There are numerous birds gulls? a rabbit, at least 3 ducks all in an enclosure, with very water. Not a natural or good environment for them!!! I will be looking at animal welfare laws in San Marino, and contacting the appropriate people over this. 」

「A lovely traditional Italian hotel. We booked an executive room and were a bit surprised not to have a view and to find that the bathroom had no shower but spa bath. The room was small and dark and traditionally furnished but the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was effective. Hotel staff were charming and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. 」
