「I stayed here before. It has a wonderful restaurant attached. Lovely cooked breakfast, fine Nepalese for dinner, friendly staff. Quiet room at night. I'll definitely go back.」

「Absolutely loved our trip for valentines weekend, the place was lovely and staff super helpful and friendly. Room was clean, our only gripe that while the bed was comfy, the base of the bed had seen better days and was incredibly squeaky with the slightest movement. Not good for a valentines getaway, but rheres always got to be something. Informed the staff and they said they'd ask the cleaner to check it out. I would highly recommend Lamb and Flag for a stay, and at the time of this review....

「We went for a Valentines weekend. On arrival the staff were professional and friendly. For some reason we were not given the room I thought I had booked via Expedia, but the character of the room was immense although it was in the rafters. Unfortunately my husband is almost 6'4" tall and struggled in the room due to the low ceiling and sloping beam. The owner upgraded us, at no extra charge, to an absolutely beautiful room. I can say that we will definitely go back! The food was excellent,...

「High-end country pub with excellent restaurant, the perfect weekend get away slot. Lovely staff, good service and near to a real-life castle. Although I recommend avoiding the room with a bathroom upstairs - cool initially but ultimately annoying in the middle of the night.」

「Lots of parking, lovely dining room and food. Hot tub, swimming pool and sauna on site, which was great and a very welccome surprise. Our room was excellent, extremely warm and comfy, and with amazing views. Aa very easy walk into town for mooching round the shops and pubs etc, plus of course the castle ruins. Very happy and would happily return please. 」

「The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent very tasty, beds were so comfortable didn’t want to get up and the whole property was spotlessly clean. 「We really enjoyed our stay at stable cottage. Excellent location with only a 5 minute walk into the town through the beautiful local church grounds. Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub was ready to use on arrival. Small outside garden area is enclosed which was perfect to let our dog out into.」
