「Overall a good stay at Hockey House, friendly staff, excellent food and a good night's rest. My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay.」

「It used to be the perfect place to stay in the region, but I see it starts to lose its service level. Waiting for osomeone to come to the reception for 20 minutes and it took another 20 mins to check us in...and we are regularly going there for business.」

「We love this hotel. Even had our wedding reception here. The only negative for us that this particular visit was for us to relax and enjoy some peace. Our room was located near to one of the main suites that have weddings/parties. There was a party on the night we stayed and we was woken and kept awake by other guests returning to their rooms and carrying on their party in the rooms. It hasnt put is off staying but next time id ask to have our room in a quieter part of the hotel. 」
