This hotel was very expensive for its condition. It was rundown, dusty, pillows were flat, the shower didn’t have a guard for the water, so the water would escape and seep into the room. The door of the bathroom had so much water damage it was almost a different color at the very bottom when compared to the rest of the door. The room had a TERRIBLE ODOUR, when I walked in and I had to open all the windows to let the stink out. The elevator was so incredibly tiny, only two people fit at a time but that’s with having your face against the wall. The two options were, squeeze into this claustrophobic elevator or go up the spiral stairs. The elevator ended up breaking down when I was there, so the stairs were the only option. One morning while I was in bed, some guy who had a key (not housekeeping) just unlocked the door and tried to come in but quickly apologized and left. I felt scared and unsafe. It was inappropriate and he didn’t even knock, I felt uncomfortable. When I spoke to the front desk, they laughed it off and said it was probably the owner, thinking no one was in there. I’d like to add that the bed was in close proximity to the bathroom, specifically the toilet and you’d have to squeeze to get into the bathroom. The walls are PAPER THIN, and it’s an actual key to get in, the doors have to be pulled shut so they slam every time. I heard everything at all hours, even cheeks clapping. 5/10.
