There was complimentary cider in the lobby and, when it wasn't there, they'd say that it would be available at 3p. By 5p if it wasn't there, they'd say that it was seasonal and that it had gone away for the Spring and that it would return in the Autumn, only for it to turn up the very next day. If you're not sure, just say that...

"What I liked about this hotel is its location: it has beautiful panorama views from high floor; it’s on walkable distance from restaurants and shopping center; we also took a walk to Stanley park, which was perfect combination of walking and exploring downtown. Service was excellent: staff was very friendly and helpful. The only part I didn’t like is its small rooms and not included breakfast. Otherwise it would be an excellent hotel."
